- We integrate elements of the Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural, Solution Focussed, Ontological, Cognitive Developmental, Positive Psychology, Transactional Analysis & Neuro-Linguistic Programming approaches into our coaching.
- Consistent with these theoretical approaches we deal with the unconscious processes in human behaviour recognising that ‘the way you think about events profoundly influences the way you feel about them’ which in turn impacts upon stress and performance. We place emphasis on assisting the coachee to define a desired future state and to construct a pathway in both thinking and behaviour that assist them in achieving that state, whilst considering the dynamic interrelationship between the three areas of human existence – language, emotions and body. We take account of the fact that people undergo significant changes in themselves and the way they make meaning of their experiences as they progress through life at the same time as helping clients increase well being, enhance and apply strengths, improve performance, and achieve valued goals. We inquire into how people relate to themselves, others and the world recognising that whoever we are and whatever we do, there is a consistent internal ordering and structuring of our perceiving, thinking, feeling and behaving.
